New Week

Wow, sorry you guys--bad mood last week. Today is going much better than the last time I was on. I guess I shouldn't make it a habit of writing on my blog when I'm really frustrated.

Anyways, to make last week look a little more positive, here's an update:

Thanksgiving wasn't too bad. Yeah, it was just me, my mom, and my dad, but we all got along just fine. We had all things that are good for dinner: mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, turkey, you name it. All in all, we had enough food to feed a small army (which explains why we've been eating leftovers for the last week--not that I mind at all).

My mom and I went shopping on the day after Thanksgiving--one of the highlights of my year. We were up by 0315 and out in the world by 0400. The resulting spree landed me with my year's supply of movies, as well as a two-week supply of socks. Later that day, my brother Troy came to visit. The rest of the day was spent in all sorts of fun--an overall perfect vacation day.

I got a hold of my professor and he let me come in yesterday to finish the questions that I wasn't able to get to. Because of the kindness of his heart, my test score went up from 56% to 92%--a definite improvement in my book.

I went and gave plasma again today, which means I'm another $30 richer. Although waiting in line took FOREVER, it all turned out pretty well. I personally think I am one of the fastest donors out there, as I finish before many of the people who started quite awhile before me (now that is something to be proud of).

Well, as you can see, things are looking up. The glass is officially half full and I am now converting to optimism. I am done with school in 13 days and on a plane to Germany in 14. As of right now, life can't get much better.
